Plasticine mixes sounds and melodies at República 14 in Olhão

Project has ten musicians, all from the Algarve region

The Plasticine project presents itself this Saturday, August 14th, at 21 pm, at República 00, in Olhão, for a concert that will mix several sounds and melodies.

Plasticine was born in 2018, providing all those who appreciate it «with a sound that fuses elements of jazz, funk, soul, rock and afro-beat, a great rhythmic and harmonic diversity and contagious melodies», says the association.

The group thus creates «different musical environments with great musical and stylistic dynamics», with ten musicians, all from the Algarve region.

They are: Ivo Barata (drums), Pedro Guerreiro (bass), Pedro Glória (percussion), Lana Gasparotti (keyboards), Wesley Seme (keyboards and voice), Pedro Barroso (guitars), João Faísca (guitars and voice), João Barbosa (trumpet), Marco Canas (saxophone) and Ricardo Lopes (trombone).

The concert will take place in the outer space of the Association, reservations can be made by e-mail.
