Castro Marim (re)lives Medieval Days in an online edition

Initiative allows a spherical visit to Castro Marim Castle

With the 2021 edition of the Medieval Days in Castro Marim postponed, the municipality created an online edition to (re)live the medieval town and all its magic and fantasy, while taking the opportunity to promote the historical heritage, which is the stage for this event season.

For this, the "Castro Marim MEDIEVAL", a platform on which you can take a «walk through the memories of previous trips to this mystical and intriguing time that was the Middle Ages», begins by saying the municipality in a press release sent to the newsrooms. You can access the platform here.

“You'll see kings and queens, knights in shining armor, fools and jesters, merchants, monks, ladies and nobles, the parade and banquet, the daring torture exhibition or the medieval encampment, but you'll also be able to access historical contents of the two main stages of the event – the Castle and the Fort of S. Sebastião», adds the municipality.

The initiative also allows a spherical visit to the Castle of Castro Marim, through this link.

This is an initiative submitted to PO CRESC Algarve 2020, being supported by Portugal and the European Union, and co-financed by the FEDER.
