The Culture Bank will be located in the Municipal Market of Faro, being «the meeting point of all the ideas and suggestions of citizens and that will give dimension to the Candidature of Faro the European Capital of Culture 2027 (Faro 2027)".
Created as a place for cooperation and sharing, Banca de Cultura «allows any citizen to present proposals for concerts, shows, exhibitions or other relevant initiatives for the construction of the city's cultural and artistic cultural program until 2027», says one press release sent to newsrooms.
In this space dedicated to culture there is room for all ideas and none will be left out, with proposals for «the creation of live air cinema sessions, an extreme sports festival, an animal farm so that it can be visited by children and even the installation of community gardens that can be accessible to the population».
A Culture Bank, located in the Municipal Market of Faro, is a mandatory stopping point until the 31st of August, and after that date, other initiatives within the scope of the application for Faro the European Capital of Culture 2027 will take place.
