Anas El Arras has been named CEO of Algarve Tech Hub. The founder and CEO of GrowIN Portugal accepted the challenge of putting into practice the strategic plan of this body that wants to transform the Algarve into one of the main ecosystems for companies in the area of ​​innovation worldwide, was announced today.

The entrepreneurial profile of Anas El Arras and her international career were the basis for this nomination.

Miguel Fernandes, director of Algarve Evolution, a non-profit business association, which brings together companies of a technological nature, some of them foreign, sees in Anas El Arras «an example of what defines our ecosystem: dynamic, welcoming, multicultural and open to new ideas and the potential for innovation'.

For his part, Francisco Serra, chairman of the Algarve STP board, considers that the new CEO of the Algarve Tech Hub will bring «a lot of international experience, in-depth knowledge and leadership necessary to put into practice the strategic plan for the region. The University of the Algarve also welcomes the arrival of Anas El Arras as CEO.
