The workers of the Hotel PortoBay Falésia will go on a strike this Tuesday, July 13th, with a rally next to the hotel from 8:00 am.
The workers decided to go on strike to demand that the administration integrate into the company's permanent staff, update salaries in order to restore part of the purchasing power lost in the last 10 years and respect for the rights enshrined in collective bargaining that the administration does not is respecting”, says the Union of Hotelaria do Algarve.
In a statement, the Union said that "it is totally in solidarity with the struggle of these workers to defend their rights and improve working and living conditions."
