The new Eurocity cruise on the Guadiana, which will show Ayamonte, Vila Real de Santo António and Castro Marim, in journeys of one and a half hours along the river, was inaugurated today, the 7th.
Every Tuesday in July and August, a boat from the Transporte Fluvial de Guadiana company will depart at 19:30 pm (Spanish time) from the Portugal pier, in Ayamonte, on a trip «which allows you to appreciate, from the river, the territory of the three municipalities, the mouth of the Guadiana, as well as passing under the Guadiana International Bridge», according to the Eurocidade do Guadiana.
Tours cost 13 euros per person and include snacks and drinks.
According to Francisco Amaral, mayor of Castro Marim and of the Eurocity of Guadiana, «to make companies and citizens join the movement of the Eurocity, that they feel it, that they can enjoy it and benefit from it, is ours. priority objective'.

The promotion and creation of cross-border tourist products is part of the EuroGuadiana 2020 project, financed by the Interreg VA Spain-Portugal Cross-Border Cooperation Program.
