NERA once again launches a contest to reward innovative business projects

This initiative is one of the core activities of the Inova Algarve 2.0 Project

NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region has already launched the new competition “Inova Algarve 2.0”, which aims to reward the best innovative business projects developed by small and medium-sized companies, and whose entries are open until 3 September. 

This competition values ​​«the cooperation between companies in the RIS3 Algarve domains, which contribute to the development of new goods and services, to increase productivity and/or the capacity to create value», explains NERA.

Aimed at legal persons, individually or in groups (project in partnership), the competition is regional in scope: in other words, applications submitted by companies and entities based in the Algarve are eligible.

In this contest, the contestants will be awarded the five best innovative projects, in each of the following categories:
Tourism and Agri-food (5 euros), Tourism and ICT and/or Cultural and Creative Industries (5 euros), Tourism and Sea (5 euros), Tourism and Health (5 euros) and Tourism and Renewable Energy (5 thousand euros) euros).

The winner of the final of this competition will receive an additional prize of another 5 euros.

Those interested in this competition must submit the respective Application Form, available on here, until September 3rd.

This initiative is one of the core activities of the Inova Algarve 2.0 Project, co-financed by the CRESC Algarve2020 Operational Program, in the typology Support System for Collective Actions – Qualification.

This project is developed in co-promotion by NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region, by the University of Algarve, by AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community and by Tertúlia Algarvia – Center for Knowledge in Culture and Traditional Food of the Algarve.
