Last June, JAT – Janela Aberta presented 150 shows in an Open Call that brought together artists and theater companies who want to be present at MOMI – International Physical Theater Festival – Algarve, which will take place in November, in Faro.
Until June 30, the Open Call received 150 applications from 27 countries, including Italy, Chile, Canada, Mexico, Denmark, the United States of America, Lithuania, among others.
"This influx of applications confirms the need for this type of event in the international context, as well as the great willingness of the artistic class to present their projects, particularly in these troubled times", says the event organizers.
By the end of this month, Coletivo JAT will select the applications that will join the program of the 1st edition of MOMI.
MOMI – International Physical Theater Festival – Algarve is a theater festival that will take place on the last weekend of November, from 25 to 28, in Faro, and which will present shows, performances and workshops on various stages and spaces in the city.
This festival is organized by JAT – Janela Aberta Teatro, with the support of the General Directorate of Arts, Iberescena, Acción Cultural Española, Algarve Tourism Region and Municipality of Faro.
