Music, with the Moçoilas, “Caminhos da Poesia”, in Albufeira, or urban art in Lagos. The Bezaranha program will continue to provide, throughout July, culture to the Algarve and tourists.
The cultural project that brings together AMAL – the Algarve Intermunicipal Community, the 16 Algarve municipalities and the Regional Directorate of Culture continues, in the first 15 days of July, with the aim of promoting the Algarve's territory and traveling between municipalities.
«The program intends to continue to boost tourism and foster the Algarve's culture. For that, there is a diversified agenda that promises to give a new impulse to the cultural dynamics of the region. Exhibitions, workshops, concerts and environmental activities are just some of the examples», says AMAL.
The Geo Palcos initiative will provide musical shows with “Moçoilas”, this Saturday, July 3rd, from 18 pm, at Fonte da Benémola (Loulé), and in Albufeira with “Caminhos da Poesia” and an installation – tapestry by Vanessa Barragão. Also in Loulé, the public will be able to observe an animal parade, with an emphasis on the fusion of the current fauna of the geopark with the extinct one.
Urban art will be highlighted in Lagos and, in the first fortnight of July, Vila Real de Santo António will be the stage for the multidisciplinary exhibition “2 Margens – As Conserveiras”, born from the desire to give greater visibility to art, culture and to the works of artists from the Baixo Guadiana region. The show will open on July 6th.
In Cacela Velha, there will be “Cultural Walks”, with archeologists Cristina Garcia and Maria João Valente, on July 10th, and “Concertos d'Encanto” in Fortaleza.
The municipality of Silves will raise awareness of environmental nature, to the sound of harps and singing, in a show by Helena Madeira with art students from Escola Secundária, on July 11th, at 19 pm.
The municipality of Olhão, through the municipality's Facebook, is preparing to offer entertainment with the “Dança em Casa” initiative.
