Athletes of the Naval Gym Club of Faro participated in the sailing class Junior European

Two athletes from the Clube Naval de Faro participated, from June 26th to July 3rd, in the Junior European in the Laser Radial class, sailing, held in Kastela (Croatia). 

João Pontes was 19th overall (and 5th in those under 17), while William Risselin reached 57th in the overall standings.

Regattas only took place in the last three days of the championship due to the lack of wind in the first days, with more than 300 sailors participating, including five Portuguese.

In a press release, the Ginásio Clube Naval de Faro highlights “the work of the entire Laser team, which undoubtedly played a very important role in these results”.
