Registration for the summer camps for the “Verão a Brincar”, which the Vila do Bispo Council will promote from 15th July to 13th August, can be made between the 14th and 18th of June at the Vila do Bispo Cultural Center , between 9:00 am and 15:00 pm.
The objective of this initiative, aimed at children between 6 and 10 years old, is “to promote, in a playful and healthy way, the occupation of free time during the summer holidays of the little ones”, according to the municipality.
On weekdays, between 8:30 am and 14 pm, participating children can enjoy trips to the beach, games, movies, sports activities and manuals.
This is a special edition, «which marks the return of the little ones' free time, after a year in which it was not held due to confinement».
The activities will be developed in Budens, Sagres and Vila do Bispo and are limited to groups of 20 participants per location.
«With regard to vacancies, these will be filled in order of registration, valuing the participants (children) of the municipality, in which the guardian is working during the duration of the project, so the guardians will be asked to declare the entities employers, as a form of justification, of the need for their students to participate in this project», summarized the Chamber of Vila do Bispo.
This year there will be no daily transport for the project frequency.
Participation costs 40 euros. Tier A beneficiaries are exempt and Tier B beneficiaries will pay 20 euros. The price includes insurance, meals and activities.
