According to a statement from the Regional Health Administration (ARS) on Sunday, there were, at the time, «816 active confirmed cases of Covid-19», in these municipalities, with an incidence rate at 14 days (cases per 100.000 inhabitants) of 583 to Albufeira, 329 to Faro, 448 for Loulé, 403 for Olhão and 326 for São Brás de Alportel».

Even so, the measure has already been criticized by parents' associations., namely because it was communicated on a Sunday.
