The protocol ceremonies and an online concert “A journey from Portugal to the World” are the way for São Brás de Alportel to celebrate tomorrow, June 10, the Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities.
The protocol ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 am, in the outdoor spaces of the Paços do Concelho, where the Raising of the Flag will be ensured by the Fire Department of São Brás de Alportel, accompanied by the interpretation of the National Anthem by the Philharmonic Band of São Brás de Alportel, which , with this performance, marks the 18th anniversary of the foundation of ACREMS – Associação Cultural Recreativa Escola de Música Sambrazense and the 14th anniversary of the first performance of the Philharmonic Band.
In the evening, São Brás de Alportel invites to a Journey “from Portugal to the World”, an online show, to which two São Brasenses artists are invited. Thus, Jorge Alves and Mariline Martins, members of Duo Kasal, prepared “A journey from Portugal to the World”, to the sound of the violin and the accordion.
The concert will be broadcast on the municipality's Facebook and Youtube pages and on Meo Kanal 205 250, from 21:30 pm.
