Crossovers and mergers are once again a feature of the Fusos festival in Alte

Fusions between music, illustration, sound design, theater, literature, dance, circus and painting

A program full of crossovers and fusions marks the return of Fusos – Festival of Artistic Fusions, which will have its fourth edition in the village of Alte, from 3rd to 6th June, after a year of absence.

The festival, which stands out for surprising audiences and artists, this year adapted the normal format, to ensure all the safety conditions and recommendations of the DGS. There will be "fewer shows per day", but "another day of programming", explains the organization.

Fusions between music, illustration, sound design, theatre, literature, dance, circus and painting will be on stage in the village of Alte (Loulé municipality), precisely the geographical center of the Algarve.

An M-Pex concert on top of a hill for the whole village to hear, while Urban Sketchers illustrate the moment, opens on the 3rd, in the late afternoon.

At night, the emblematic Fonte Grande hosts a concert/theatre by Carla Pires. The fado singer presents the recently released album “Cartografado”, mixing fictional texts written by António Pires on stage.

On Friday, Fonte Grande will have the beginning of the night Tongue in the Ear, a performance that fuses literature and music, followed by a concert by Sal. It will be the debut concert of the newly formed band that includes elements of the extinct Diabo na Cruz.

Saturday will have three shows in the afternoon. At Fonte Pequena de Alte, Ana Root and Léo Lobo mix circus, dance, music and theater in their performance Dubye, which is followed by a commemorative moment of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Cândido Guerreiro, the famous poet from Altense, with a fusion of literature and music.

At 19 pm, the Igreja Matriz de Alte will host an ancient music concert by the Ensemble Med, over which sound layers of the natural landscape of the village will be heard. ASPA project.

On Sunday, to close, the program will be at the beautiful Vigário waterfall, starting with a fusion between jazz by Genoveva Faísca and painting by Renata Pawelec. Fusos ends with a concert by Olive Tree Dance.

Admission to all events is free, subject to the capacity defined by the security rules.
