This month, the Municipality of Aljezur began an annulling campaign to control rats and cockroaches in municipal buildings and public sanitation networks in all urban areas of the municipality.
To this end, the municipality resorted to awarding specialized disinfestation services to the company Ambidefense, Unipessoal, Lda, for a period of one year (June 2021 to May 2022).
This campaign consists of carrying out a total of 106 interventions, of which 46 are in Municipal Buildings and facilities, namely in the Municipal Markets of Aljezur and Odeceixe, in the facilities of the Odeceixe Kindergarten and Rogil and Odeceixe Primary Schools, in the Building City Hall and the former C+S Municipal Building, in the Municipal and Vehicle Warehouse and in the Municipal Archives, and 60 in the sanitation networks of the municipality of Aljezur, in the areas of Carrapateira, Bordeira, Arrifana, Aljezur, Rogil, Maria Vinagre and Odeceixe , comprising 1045 sanitation boxes.
