Future of Vila Real de Santo António Forest is under debate

ICNF organizes, with the participation of Odiana and ADPM

The Vila Real de Santo António Coastal Dunes National Forest (VRSA) hosts this Tuesday, the 4th, a meeting to debate the safeguard and future of this natural area.

Respecting all health standards, the event will be attended by public entities, managers, as well as several
elements of civil society, with the objective of «promoting the debate about that space, discussing, locally, which path Mata should follow in the coming years», stresses the ADPM, one of the participating entities.

This NGO considers that «the Forest of VRSA is a space of enormous environmental value that has recently undergone some improvements, namely through new signage».

Mata was also awarded the “Inheritura Area” seal, awarded by a technical committee created by the INHERIT Project, which aims to promote areas in which the protection of natural heritage represents an asset for developing sustainable tourist activities.

This event is organized by ICNF and has the participation of entities such as Associação Odiana and ADPM.
