Farense lost 5-1 against FC Porto, this Monday, May 10, in a game of the 32nd round of the I League of football, played at Estádio do Dragão. The Algarvians, who so badly need points for maintenance, started badly in the match and, in the 20th minute, already trailed by three.

Disaster. The word fits well in what was the first part of the Algarve team. Farense entered the field knowing that, despite being complicated, it was important to score in Cidade Invicta, but the desires of Jorge Costa's team quickly fell to the ground.

Three minutes had been played when referee Tiago Martins pointed to the penalty mark, after having gone to the VAR to see a move, protested by the Algarve, in which Licá touched the ball with his arm inside the area.

Called to convert, Taremi didn't fail – although Beto guessed the side.

At 14′, FC Porto scored the second, through Toni Martínez. Taremi made a good pass to open the back of Farense's defense and the Spanish forward appeared loose in the area, scoring without any major difficulties.

Farense was uninspired and showed few arguments to confront the good entry into the field of FC Porto. Hence, the third goal came quite naturally, in the 20th minute, seconds after Pedro Henrique had missed a good goal in the FC Porto area.

It is said that those who do not score, suffer and Díaz appeared free in the area and scored for Sergio Conceição's team 3-0.

It was foreseeable a difficult night for Farense and the mission became even more difficult at 30′, with the expulsion of Bilel for an imprudent entry, from behind, on Manafá.

In the period of added time, Farense even scored, through Pedro Henrique, but the move was canceled for offside by the striker of the Algarve at the beginning of the move.

At half-time, dissatisfied with what he was seeing, Jorge Costa changed four (!) players in a row: Pedro Henrique, Tomás Tavares, Gauld and Lucca left for Queta, Alex Pinto, Fabrício and Falcão.

But the effective changes, on the field, did not appear for Farense. The game decreased a little in intensity, but in the 59th minute, FC Porto scored again, with an double from Taremi, after a pass to unmark by Otávio.

Until the end, there were still two goals. In the first place, Sérgio Conceição's team made the fifth, in the 84th minute, through João Mário and with the assistance of…Marchesin, the FC Porto goalkeeper.

Second, Farense scored the goal of honor, at 89′, in a move in which Diogo Leite made a bad delay and Licá took the opportunity to score.

With this defeat, Farense continues to have the same 28 points and is in 17th place, two points behind Boavista, who will play against Sporting tomorrow, in a game that could give the title to Alvalade's team.

In the next round, crucial for Farense, the Algarvians receive Tondela and only the victory will interest them to still aspire with the maintenance of the I League of football.
