The PSD will re-candidate Indaleta Cabrita for the presidency of the Parish Council of Albufeira and Olhos de Água and chose Cláudia Cavaco (Ferreiras), João Vieira (Guia) and Valério Brito (Paderne) to try to win over the other councils in the council from the PS.
The Social Democrats, who for decades have been consecutively winning elections for the Albufeirense Chamber, made "a very careful consideration based on the competence and motivation of the candidates", according to Cristiano Cabrita, president of the PSD in Albufeira.
“From what we were listening to among the population are names that guarantee us victory in all parishes. It is a list of people who are eager to serve their customers», he considered.
In Albufeira and Olhos de Água, the choice fell, naturally, to the acting president, Indaleta Cabrita, who has a degree in History and who taught for 36 years.
In the guide, João Vieira is an Agricultural Production Technical Engineer who is currently a real estate agent.
In Ferreiras, the chosen one was Cláudia Cavaco, a teacher and member of the local Parish assembly, as well as vice president of the São José Conference in this location.
Valério Brito, graduated in electrical engineering and former secretary of the Parish Council, will be a PSD candidate in Paderne.
«The objective of the PSD Albufeira is to guarantee a vote higher than 2017, in all municipal bodies, as we are convinced that the inhabitants of Albufeira will know how to recognize the capacity for work, humility, competence and public service that the PSD mayors have demonstrated over the past few years in defense of their interests», concludes Cristiano Cabrita.
