Vaccine Self-Scheduling Portal Available Next Week

«We thought that [the portal] could already be up and running, but there was a need to readjust the work schedule»

Health Minister Marta Temido announced today that the portal for self-scheduling of vaccination against covid-19 will be up and running next week.

"We thought that [the portal] could already be working, but there was a need to readjust the work agenda according to the allocation of resources to the mass vaccination process of teachers and non-teachers," said the minister, who was speaking at a press conference at Infarmed.

Marta Temido also recalled that the National Health Service portal, in the space for the covid-19 vaccination, "has been making progress", allowing the use of a simulator for users to check if they are on the list of registrations for each of the phases of vaccination.

It also allows those who are followed in the private sector to register for vaccination, through the doctor who follows them.

The official also said that the features of this tool will be enhanced, with the possibility of opting for vaccination in a place other than the one at home.
