The Municipal Museum of Olhão will promote on May 18, between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm the training action “Mus.eu”, a heritage education project aimed at cultural professionals and teachers.
This initiative of the Educational Service of the Municipal Museum of Olhão aims to «raise awareness of the importance of the child, of their life story, of their connection with what surrounds them and makes them grow as a citizen, their family, their street, their City. After all, it's as if each child were a mus.eu».
«From a perspective of sharing practices, dissemination of the historical identity of the municipality of Olhão and its positive capitalization, this is an accredited training, which has the partnership of the Ria Formosa Training Centre, enabling participants, namely teachers, to obtain credit /hours that can be added to their curriculum», according to the Chamber of Olhão.
The action also enables teachers to «create educational tools with current scientific content developed by technicians from the Municipal Museum of Olhão».
