A 38-year-old man died this afternoon following a collision between a car and a motorcycle at the Granja site, in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.
Death was declared on the spot by the INEM helicopter team.
Source of the Algarve Regional Command for Civil Protection told the Sul Informação that the collision happened on a «path» along the National Road 268, which connects Vila do Bispo to Sagres and that the alert was given at 17:31.
21 operatives from Vila do Bispo Firefighters and GNR were involved in the victim's rescue, supported by 6 vehicles and the INEM helicopter.
