The Algarve team started better and managed to pull over the home team in the first few minutes.

Paços had to be able to free themselves and balance the match, with both teams creating opportunities near the opponent's goal during the first half.

Even so, until the break, the 0-0 remained.

In the second half, Farense showed its claws and had to reach the goal, in the 77th minute, with a penalty, scored by Ryan Gauld.

Paços de Ferreira failed to react to the goal they conceded and it would have been the Algarve who extended their advantage, on 85, through Fabrício Isidoro and on the third, as Pedro Henrique's first shot was blocked by the Paços goalkeeper Ferreira and the first reload, by Ryan Gauld, hit a defender.

Until the end, the team Faro held the precious result with peace of mind.
