The Chamber of Faro will provide through public auction spaces for the installation and operation of “self-service” washing and drying machines and vending machines (vending) beverages, food, hygiene and seasonal use products, in the new Municipal Camping Park of Praia de Faro.
The objective is "to provide the facilities of this new infrastructure, which has a capacity of 690 people, with machines that enable future users to enjoy the aforementioned services, under the best hygiene and quality conditions."
According to the Chamber of Faro, «the monthly base value for each machine is 50 euros, corresponding to the minimum value that the Municipality of Faro is willing to receive monthly payments to cover the costs of cleaning the space, electricity and water consumption, including sanitation and waste management».
The award may be made to different competitors, according to three lots: lot 1, for three 8-kilogram washing machines and two 8-kilogram dryers, lot 2, for four vending machines for cold water , cold soft drinks, coffee and snacks and lot 3, for two machines for selling hygiene products and seasonal use.
The entire process is available for consultation at the Administrative and Property Management Department/ Administration and Property Division and on the municipality's website.
Proposals may be submitted in writing, identifying the applicant abroad, the public notice, the auction and the lot to which it refers, and should be addressed to the Department of Administrative and Patrimonial Management, Largo da Sé, 8004-001 Faro, until 17:00 pm on May 7, 2021.
However, the delivery of proposals is optional and does not inhibit interested parties from intervening in the verbal bidding.
It should be noted that reconnaissance visits can be made to the Municipal Camping Park of Faro, provided that they are requested in writing, to the president of the public auction, to Largo da Sé, 8004-001 Faro, up to two working days immediately prior to the square (scheduled for May 14th, at 10:00 am).
