In times of distance, Algarve Museums renew their proximity…online

Electronic platform allows access to each of the museums and other structures of the Network

Immersed again in a period of temporary closure, far from the pleasant and always desired presence of their audiences and friends, the Museums, Natural Parks and Living Science Centers of the Algarve Museum Network (RMA) are once again renewing their strategies to maintain a continuous and necessary proximity.

«In this time of strong social constraint and, while it is not yet possible to predict its opening, it is through the equally creative but digital route that this path is followed and the structures of the Algarve's history, cultural and natural heritage and museology develop their renewed alternative proposals for a more interactive contact with its contents», explain those responsible for the RMA.

So through your electronic platform, which can be accessed here, it is easy to access not only the RMA's own Algarve Museum Guide, but also the diversity of each museum and the region's heritage structure.

It will thus be possible to visit the Albufeira Archeology Museum, the Algarve Living Science Centre, the Portimão Museum, the Municipal Museum of Faro, Slavery Nucleus of the Lagos Museum, São Brás de Alportel Costume Museum, Loulé Municipal Museum, Cacela Heritage Research and Information Centre, Monuments under the responsibility of the Algarve Regional Directorate of Culture and Tavira Municipal Museum.

«We wish you all a pleasant journey through the history and culture of the Algarve and we hope to get back in touch in a more face-to-face manner soon», added the responsible for the RMA.
