Docapesca has launched a tender for the construction of a fresh fish conservation chamber, in the fish market building in Olhão, with a base price of 80 thousand euros.
According to Docapesca, "this contract will improve the cold chain of the fish traded in this auction, providing a storage capacity of 660 boxes of 15 kilograms and a volume of 135 cubic meters".
The company that manages the ports and auctions recalls that, since the beginning of the year, "it has also strengthened the security of the port, namely the installation of a new video surveillance system and public lighting on the jetties".
These interventions cost around 65 thousand euros.
