O 3.0 magnitude earthquake (Richter), recorded at dawn this Saturday, February 6, and with an epicenter on land, near Vila do Bispo, was felt in the municipalities of Aljezur, Lagoa and Lagos.
The information is disclosed in a statement from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
According to IPMA, the shock was felt "with maximum intensity III (modified Mercalli scale) in the municipality of Aljezur." It was also «felt less intensely in the municipalities of Lagoa and Lagos».
