Portimonense "put his foot" against Benfica and guaranteed a draw

Game counted for the 23rd round of the I Futsal Division

Portimonense drew 3-3 with Benfica, this Wednesday, in a game counting for the 23rd round of the Placard Futsal League, in which the Algarvians knew how to “put their foot down” to the second-placed and strong candidate for the title.

On the first visit of the Lisboners to Pavilhão da Boavista, in Portimão, the home team proved to be tough and had the capacity for suffering and enough art to guarantee a point against the defending champion – even though this title was won at the time. 2018/19.

The Algarvians even started to lose, but they didn't let themselves be intimidated, in what was a game of strong emotions.

This draw leaves the Algarve in sixth position in the championship, but with the possibility of reaching third place, only behind Sporting and Benfica, if they win the game they have in delay.
