A 39-year-old woman suffered an accident at the end of yesterday, while riding her bicycle on a trail on the banks of the Ria Formosa, in the municipality of Olhão, having fallen into a stream, from a height of about three meters. The fall resulted in injuries to the left arm.
The victim, who was conscious, was assisted on the spot by the Municipal Fire Department of Olhão, who then transported her to the hospital in Faro.
The picket of the Maritime Police of Olhão, who took charge of the occurrence, was alerted at 18:18, through the fire department.
