Portimonense shot more, had more ball, but Marco Baixinho didn't let the Algarvians win, this afternoon, against Paços de Ferreira, at Estádio Capital do Móvel. With a cut on the line, close to the 90th minute, the central defender from Pacense avoided the goal of the Algarve and guaranteed the division of points (0-0) in this match.

The game was balanced in the first half, but with a slight increase for the Algarve team and, after 8 minutes, Beto broke through behind the defense, but goalkeeper Jordi left his area and, with an acrobatic cut, prevented the striker from reaching the spherical.

On minute 38, Aylton, one of the best in the Algarve in the first half, crossed to the far post, Beto headed it, but the ball went wide.

Shortly after, a real deluge hit the Capital do Móvel Stadium and Manuel Mota interrupted the match. The restart took place after three minutes and, until the rest, there was nothing more worthy of record.

The second half didn't bring big news to the game, with a more reckless Portimonense, more shooting, but ineffective.

At 69′, Dener was an example of the Algarve's offensive lack of inspiration when, in the small area, assisted by Willyan, he wasted what had been the best opportunity so far.

If Dener's opportunity had already been flagrant, in the 86th minute, a goal was even shouted on the pitch.

Bruno Moreira received a free kick in the area, shot into goal, the ball passed by Jordi, but Marco Baixinho was there, cutting the ball over the goal line.

With this result, Portimonense now has 16 points in 18 matches and is, in condition, in 15th place in the standings.

Next Sunday, at 15 pm, the people of Alvinegro receive, in Portimão, the Gil Vicente.
