The MasterChef Senior project will have an online section starting this Friday, January 8, where the recipes made by users of the various Lifelong Education Centers in the municipality of Silves will be released. This new digital rubric “will recall the well-known Teleculinária of other times”.
According to the Chamber of Silves, «this activity intends to promote the activity of the elements of these poles in a slightly different way, since, given the national pandemic framework, it is not possible to hold the usual meetings for the development of common activities ».
It was in this context that the Municipality of Silves «launched the challenge of recording the delicacies of these users on video and sharing them with the web community, ensuring, on the other hand, the transfer of intergenerational knowledge, a basic assumption of Education Poles throughout Life ».
This new MasterChef Senior program will be published via Facebook and Instagram from the Municipality of Silves every Friday at 12:30 pm.
The first recipe, tomorrow, will be authored by “MasterChef Senior” Crisante Silvestre, from the Lifelong Education Center of Armação de Pêra, who will explain how to prepare a dish of Pezinhos de Coentrada.
