Olhanense wins Esperança de Lagos with Davids on the stand

Olhanense beat Esperança de Lagos by 0-1, in a delayed match of the 8th round of series H of the Portuguese Football Championship, played this Wednesday, January 14, in Lagos.

With Edgar Davids, the new coach of Olhanense, on the stand, due to the expulsion in the last day, the team from Olhão scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute, through João Oliveira.

With this victory, Olhanense rose to 2nd place in the league table, with 17 points, 9 behind Vitória de Setúbal, which is the leader.

Edgar Davids' team, which has been coaching the Algarve twice, has a game in hand.

As for Esperança de Lagos, they have 14 points and are in 5th place in the championship.

Louletano, in turn, occupies the 3rd place (15 points) and Moncarapachense the 8th position (10 points).
