This is one of the five workshops dedicated to traditional trades at risk of extinction located in the historic center of Loulé, created within the scope of the Loulé Creative project.
«Situated at Nº45 on Rua Martim Moniz, Space 2 of Oficina do Barro, managed by the Municipality, a constituent part of this network, has as its purpose the preservation and sharing of knowledge and the qualification and development of projects around clay and pastes. ceramics, contributing to the dissemination of professionals and their work in these two domains», framed the Loulé Chamber.

«In the evaluation of applications for residents, criteria such as the relevance/merit of the project and adequacy to the space and equipment will be considered; mastery of skills in the areas of pottery and/or ceramics through the presentation of portfolios, certificates, photos of executed pieces, other evidence that the candidate intends to present; degree of innovation and differentiation of the idea; linking the project to the territory and local culture; economic feasibility of the project/business; adequacy of the business promoter's curriculum; or the project's potential for job creation in the municipality of Loulé”, according to the Câmara de Loulé.
