A 21-year-old man was detained by the GNR for attempted robbery, this Sunday, the 10th, in Loulé.
The GNR received a complaint that an attempted robbery was taking place and called a patrol that, as it approached the scene, heard "the threats made by the suspect to the victim".
"On realizing the arrival of the military, the individual tried to flee, having been intercepted and detained a few meters from the site," according to that security force.
The man was subjected to the first interrogation in the Judicial Court of Loulé yesterday and will be placed in preventive detention, having been taken to the Prison of Olhão.
