An accident involving three light vehicles, which occurred this morning on the EN125, in the area between Arneiro and Patacão, in the municipality of Faro, caused an injury and is causing long lines, in both directions.
Contacted by Sul Informação, the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) of Faro revealed that there is one wounded, "but the seriousness has yet to be determined", bearing in mind that "it was necessary to extricate the victim".
The removal of this person from the vehicle, which was destroyed, is being carried out by Firefighters Sapadores de Faro.
The accident is restricting traffic in both directions, but has forced a total cut off in traffic. In this way, to enter and exit Faro, it is advisable to use an alternative route, namely the EN2.
At the site, in addition to the firefighters, there were elements of INEM and GNR, in a total of six vehicles and 12 operational.
