The Câmara de Lagos will once again make available community masks to the population, in an initiative that lasts from December 14th to January 31st.
The masks can be lifted at various service locations (at the Town Hall, Parish Councils and municipal markets), upon presentation of an identification document. Each citizen will receive a kit with three certified reusable masks.
This is, explains the City of Lagos, "a measure that aims to help the population comply with one of the five golden rules of protection against Covid-19: the mandatory use of masks, particularly in the workplace."
As Lagos currently has a number of new cases that put it on the map of high-risk municipalities, «this is yet another measure of reinforcement in the fight against the pandemic in which the municipality has been engaged since the first moment, being accompanied in this effort by the many entities that on the ground are at the forefront of this fight and for the responsible civic behavior adopted by the general population», he adds.
