From tourism to work: the changes that Brexit brings in January

Starting next month, Britons in the EU will be considered third-country nationals

For tourism, study or work, for 45 years European and British citizens got used to traveling without obstacles between the United Kingdom and the European Union, but from January 1st, Brexit becomes a reality.

Starting next month, Britons in the EU will be considered third-country nationals, no longer benefiting from the freedom of movement to work, study or retire in the territory of the Union and Associated States (Norway, Iceland, Switzerland), and the UK will start treating European citizens like most “non-Brits”.
