Two men, aged 35 and 41, suspected of having robbed a cafe in Albufeira, assaulting the employee to keep bottles of drink, were arrested this Tuesday, 8 December.
According to the GNR, everything happened "following a report of an attack on an employee of a café".
The military went to the scene, where "the victim, a 24-year-old woman, reported that two customers had complained about the service provided and assaulted her" while trying to steal "a few bottles of drink from the establishment."
Through the description of the suspects' characteristics, the Guards officers located them on the public road, "having been approached and arrested immediately".
The suspects were presented at the Albufeira Judicial Court, where they were subject to a term of identity and residence.
