Alcoutim City Council approved, at the executive's meeting held today, December 9, a financial contribution in the total amount of 74.387,26 euros to be allocated equally to Grupo Desportivo de Alcoutim (GDA) and the Inter-Vivos Association.
The municipality explains that "the amount is intended for the acquisition of two new vehicles for the institutions to continue the work carried out, namely in the field of canoeing and futsal".
"These are two fundamental institutions for the practice of sports among young people in the municipality, which aim to fight exclusion and provide a more active and healthier life for the young people they accompany, ensuring an essential social response in their training", stressed the president of the Osvaldo Gonçalves Chamber.
