According to the organization, the opinion of this authority says that "a sporting event of this dimension, in addition to further increasing the number of cases in the region, would also take up essential time for security forces and other professionals and they are currently essential in prevention of Covid-19'.
Now, trying to find a new date for the organization of this rally.
Due to the importance that the race presents in the discussion of the title of national champion of Rally, the Portuguese Federation of Automobile and Karting and the Clube Automóvel do Algarve will propose to Solverde – Casinos do Algarve and the municipalities involved a new date for the realization of the rally during the next month of December.
This is provided that the sanitary conditions for its safe execution are met, which have already allowed «the holding of other tests of the Portuguese Rally Championship».
