São Brás de Alportel helps pay passes for students studying outside the county

support is aimed at secondary and vocational education students.

The City Council of São Brás de Alportel will contribute to school passes for students in secondary education and professional courses residing in the municipality who need to attend schools in other municipalities during the current academic year.

The municipality will provide 100% support and cover in full the cost of passes for students benefiting from school social action in grade A. Students in grade B see the cost of their passes reimbursed at 75% and the remaining students at 50% .

“So far, for this school year, 36 school passes have been awarded: 11 for grade B, 11 for grade A and 14 passes without step”, according to the City Council of São Brás de Alportel.
This support is aimed at secondary school and professional course students residing in the municipality «who need to attend schools in other municipalities due to lack of response from the area or course in the grouping of schools in the municipality, to continue their studies in the areas they intend to pursue. ».

The municipality already provides, "free of charge, school transport to all primary and secondary education students who reside and study in the municipality's schools with municipal vehicles and human resources".

The school pass must be requested using a form at the Municipal Fees and Permits Service, during normal business hours.
