93-year-old woman from Lar de Balurcos dies with Covid-19 [interactive map]

There are no Covid-19 patients ventilated in the Algarve

 

A 93-year-old elderly woman, from the home of Balurcos, in the municipality of Alcoutim, who was infected with Covid-19, died this Saturday, confirmed a source from the Regional Health Authority to the Sul Informação.

According to the same source, the elderly, asymptomatic, was not hospitalized, remaining in the Home.

This death, the first in the municipality of Alcoutim, has not yet been accounted for in the epidemiological bulletin of the General Directorate of Health, released this Sunday.

According to the latest assessment made by the regional Health delegate, last Thursday, there were 14 elderly and 11 workers infected at Lar de Balurcos.

The latest regional data to which the Sul Informação had access indicate that there are 30 people hospitalized with Covid-19 in the Algarve, three of them in intensive care.

Still, there are no ventilated patients.
