There is a new carob flour with a very Algarvian touch

The launch of the flour was made on social networks, website and online store on October 7th

A carob world, an Algarve company based in Faro, has just launched a carob flour – the Dear Powder.

After launching two product lines in 2019, Carob World now has this carob flour, made 100% of this product.

In a press release, the Algarve company explains that, «whether for its nutritional values ​​or for the exaltation of the national heritage, carob has gained prominence in the national and international panorama».

In recent years, Portugal has stood out as the world's largest producer of this fruit and «Carob World wants to continue working so that this trend is followed and that carob products are increasingly a reality in the national and international markets».

The bet on this product comes after the launch of the lines Mediterranean Temptations e Mediterranean Secrets last year, which includes a tablet and a locust bean based spread.

As for this carob flour, which has now been launched, «it does not contain gluten, like ordinary wheat flour, it has a high amount of protein, is rich in fiber and also contains essential vitamins for the proper functioning of the body», says the company.

The launch of the flour was made on social networks, website and online store on October 7th. The event featured the brand's most recent partner, nutritionist Mafalda Rodrigues de Almeida, author of the books “Superalimentos – meals with more life” and “Equilíbrio – the recipe guide for a healthy intestine” and the Loveat.pt website.
