The Algarve Joana Schenker won, this Saturday, in Póvoa de Varzim, the seventh national Open Women's Bodyboard title. Despite the fourth place in the final, the position was enough to become seven times national champion.
The national circuit this year consisted of 4 stages (Santa Cruz, Nazaré, Peniche and Póvoa de Varzim) which, in an atypical year due to the Pandemic, «turned out to be a great success in the world bodyboard panorama», highlights the Association of Bodyboard of Sagres.
Joana Schenker, on the other hand, says she is “very happy to retain the national title for the 7th consecutive time. It's always one of the big goals of the year, but this one turned out to be the goal of the year, being the only circuit to take place due to the pandemic. I want to thank my sponsors for their trust».
