João Gomes Cravinho, Minister of National Defence, will inaugurate, next Tuesday, September 8, at 15 pm, the Lifeguard Station and the Maritime Post of Quarteira.
The ceremony will take place inside the Quarteira Fishing Post.
These two areas – the Life Saving Station and the Maritime Post – have been in operation since last June, but will now be officially inaugurated.
The spaces needed for the installation of these equipments were provided by Docapesca, the work was in charge of the Maritime Authority, but it was the Loulé City Council that advanced the 725 euros necessary for its completion.
