Loulé Criativo promotes a course to keep the tradition of the enterprise alive

Registration is open until October 1st.

Keeping the tradition of the enterprise alive is the main objective of a training course that will take place in Loulé, between the 10th of October and the 14th of November.

The Empreita Course, promoted by the Loulé Chamber, through the Loulé Criativo project, will be taught by the artisans who are part of the Casa da Empreita collective, in seven-hour sessions, which take place on Saturdays (from 9:30 am to 17:30 pm, with 1 hour of lunch), at Palácio Gama Lobo, in Loulé, home of the Loulé Criativo project.

In total, the training will have 42 hours, spread over six modules, and aims to "provide participants with knowledge that will allow them to master the raw material, the processes associated with it, as well as execute various parts under contract, using various techniques" , according to the Chamber of Loulé.

The course is aimed at people over 18 years old «with an interest in learning and developing the technique of the project, with the interest in continuing the activity, as well as the availability to be part of the Casa's service roster, being a valued factor in the selection of participants. of the Contract”.

In order to function, the training must have a minimum number of six participants. A maximum of eight people can take the course.

«Partially financed by the municipality, the cost of participation is 50 euros (special conditions for people who are demonstrably unemployed) + 50 euros as a deposit, which will be refunded at the end of the course, if the trainee successfully completes the training and join the Casa da Empreita collective for a minimum period of three months, ensuring shifts in the functioning of the space», explained the municipality.
