The catalog of the exhibition “A Principal do Reino do Algarve” and a medal commemorating 500 years of elevation of Tavira to the city are already on sale at the Municipal Museum and at the Álvaro de Campos Library.
The catalog costs 25 euros, while the medal can be purchased for 10 euros.
According to the Câmara de Tavira, the «catalogue is the result of a concerted work that brings together the contribution of several experts, adding up-to-date knowledge about the history of Tavira, in the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, when the city was recognized as “The Main of the Kingdom of Algarve”».
«The commemorative medal is made of bronze, 8 cm in diameter, 2 sides with the image of 500 years and is accompanied by a velvety case. It has, in addition to these characteristics, the particularity of being numbered».
