Docapesca launched a tender, with a base price of 39.500 euros, for the installation of LED lighting in the fishing port of Olhão.
The goal is to replace the 24 columns and luminaires on the three quay bridges.
«The new metal columns have a height of five meters and the luminaires are now LED, and a protection element against birds, consisting of stainless steel spikes, is also planned to be installed in all luminaires», says Docapesca.
In addition to improving energy efficiency, this intervention is part of the reinforcement of the safety conditions of the fishing port of Olhão.
With this objective in mind, Docapesca also launched, in August, a tender for the assembly of a video surveillance system with 10 cameras, with a base price of 27 thousand euros.
