The Municipality of Silves distributed reusable community masks to students from schools in the municipality over ten years old, as well as to «teachers and other professionals involved in school activities».
This initiative at the beginning of the school year «aimed at raising awareness of the importance of prevention and compliance with safety rules when returning to school activities», within the scope of the pandemic.
The measure was implemented with the help of the municipality's education sector team, "which was responsible for the separation, packaging and distribution" of the masks.
