This Tuesday, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAD) accepted the injunction filed by OIlhanense requesting the suspension of the decision on the promotions of Vizela and Arouca from the Portuguese Championship to LigaPro (II Liga), taken by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) following the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The Colégio Arbitral decides, by majority, to decree the injunction suspending the effectiveness of the decisions adopted by the Board of the Portuguese Football Federation on 14 May 2020, which approved the addition of article 11-A to the Regulation of the Portuguese Football Championship. Portugal and which indicated Futebol Clube de Vizela, Futebol SAD and Futebol Clube de Arouca, Futebol SDUQ Lda. to integrate LigaPro in the 2020/2021 sporting season”, decided the judges who analyzed the case.
