Work on the road connecting the Four Roads to Luz de Lagos starts tomorrow

Intervention costs around 1,6 million euros

The requalification works of the Municipal Road (EM) 537, which connects the Quatro Estradas to Luz de Lagos, will begin this Tuesday, 1st of September, the lacobrigense City Council has just announced.

The first phase of the work will take place between the Orbitur Camping Park and the village of Luz, which will force the closure of traffic on this section, as well as the temporary suppression of some stops of the “A Onda” transport service.

The intervention on this road, which costs around 1,6 million euros, will last for six months with the aim of improving the conditions of this road.

The second phase of the work «will take place between Quatro Estradas and the Orbitur Campsite. During the works, traffic will be redirected through temporary signage and publicity in the city's media».

In the case of the “A Onda” transport network, from September 1st, and for an indefinite period, the stops at Quinta da Luz, Valverde and Monte S. Pedro of the 4 Yellow line will be eliminated, and circulation will be carried out via the EN125 ( Spigot).
